Do you NEED A RIDE to vote?

 If you need a ride to your polling place, please send me an email and we will arrange for transportation.


Do you need an ABSENTEE BALLOT?

If so, you can CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD AN APPLICATION for a ballot, then just sign and deliver it to City Hall by mail, email or drop-off. You can also have a ballot mailed to you by requesting one by phone. Or you can go there to pick one up at any time before the election.

An Absentee Ballot can be requested for a student, other family members or any registered voter.

How do I REGISTER TO VOTE?

To register to vote, you must be: a citizen of the United States, a legal resident of the City of Newton, and 18 years old on or before election day.

You must be registered to vote 20 days prior to an election in order to vote in that election.

To register to vote, you may register online, by mail, or in person at the City Clerk’s Office in City Hall.

You may also register to vote through the Registry of Motor Vehicles when changing your car registration or license information.
